This place was great to have breakfast at, they even offer lunch all day as well. Our experience here was fantastic everyone was so nice and accommodating. We were never left unattended for more than a few minutes even though the place was almost packed. We had a full order of biscuits and gravy with a side of over easy eggs and bacon. Also the French toast as well as an order of an omelette. Food was most definitely appealing as well as tasty. Highly recommend stopping in this place as the staff is very friendly and the food is filling!!

Barrys its one of the best places in NC to get breakfast, sandwich and the all mighty papa burger recognize around the world. Going there after work or hangin around always feels like home. Make sure to show some love for their non profit to feed firefighters and enjoy!!!

We have eaten here often. Love the comfortable hometown cafe atmosphere, the genuinely friendly staff (literally see them hug patrons every time I’m there), and the good food. My go-to is the BLT with egg. Pancakes are delish, hot chocolate, corned beef hash, omelets. For lunch I like their club. It is a good value.

This has been our best breakfast place so far. They have a welcoming ambiance, filled with tributes to firemen. I ordered a chicken sandwich and veggie omelet. The quality of the food was top-notch and cooked to perfection. The fries were prepared just right. The butter pods on each table are of good quality too. The open kitchen is very clean. The old lady, who I think is the owner or manager, was attentive and welcoming.

A wonderful and friendly cafe. This was my first time eating here and I already want to go back. It's a simple diner with booths, tables, and seating at a bar. The servers were all friendly and showcase Barry's desire to open a local diner where patrons will leave happier than they arrived. Service was quick and came with witty jokes. (Amy was our server.) The food was excellent. Everything was hot and fresh, the sausage links were cooked perfectly (not overcooked to be chewy) and the raspberry pancake was large and delicious. The environment is filled with relics of firefighter equipment and memorabilia of 9/11. The stories on the walls do a nice job of honoring those who serve us valiantly.

Absolutely spotless and seriously impressive. Barry’s Deli is one of the cleanest places I’ve ever been. Even the air vents up top where you usually see dust, are spotless. Every detail is cared for. The place is filled with fire helmets and decor, and not a speck of dust on any of it. The kitchen staff doesn’t stop—after every single item they cook, they’re already cleaning. The grill? Immaculate. On top of all that, everyone there is smiling and kind. You can just tell nobody cuts corners here. I had the beef wrap, and we also tried the grilled chicken wrap, both were absolute perfection. Fries were hot and crispy, coffee was great, and the service was outstanding. Totally blown away.
